Just like in nature, frigid air meets the surface of warmer water and eventually, an ice crystal forms. Then another and another, freezing from the top down, pushing air bubbles and impurities away. ice ology ice cube system works the same way removing the air and allowing dissolved solids to settle, eliminating any cloudiness in the pure, crystal clear ice. Each ice ology tray features a lower and upper silicone mold. To use, fill the lower tray with tap water, and lower the upper silicone mold into place. During the freezing process (12 hours/overnight), bubbles and impurities filter to the bottom of the tray, leaving crystal clear ice in the ice molds!
